Oreste Pollicino is a Full Professor of Constitutional Law and Law of Artificial Intelligence Regulation at Bocconi University, where he directs the LL.M. in Law of Technology & Automated Systems and serves as Co-Director of the Research Unit Law and Economic Studies (RULES).

Currently, he represents Italy at the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (Vienna) and is President of DICOPO – Centre for Digital Constitutionalism and Policy (Brussels).

Prof. Pollicino is the author of the first monograph addressing the topic of digital constitutionalism (2021). He is also one of the most cited constitutional law scholars in Europe, particularly for his studies on the relationship between law and new technologies, protection of fundamental rights, governance of digital intelligence, and data protection.

He has authored around ten monographs, published over 200 articles, and edited approximately 30 collective volumes on European constitutional law, digital constitutionalism, the relationship between European courts and constitutional courts, AI regulation, and personal data protection.
