Professor Oreste Pollicino will join the International Fact-Checking Day, the event held by the Italian Digital Media Observatory (IDMO), Italian hub of the European Digital Media Observatory, coordinated by Centro di ricerca Luiss Data Lab in partnership with Master in Giornalismo e Comunicazione multimediale.
The event will illustrate the impact of misinformation and the strategies to stem it through multidisciplinary approaches. Professor Oreste Pollicino will join the panel focused on policy.

Professor Oreste Pollicino will introduce and moderate the debate during the webinar "Razzismo, antisemitismo, odio in rete: quali strumenti di contrasto in Italia e in Europa?”, held by Università Bocconi in order to discuss on the volume by Giorgio Sacerdoti "Diritto ed ebraismo. Italia Europa Israele. Sessant’anni di interventi e battaglie civili”.

Professor Oreste Pollicino will join as speaker the second level master of the Università degli Studi Roma Tre “Lo Stato digitale”, taking part in the conference on democracy, freedom of expression and freedom of information in the digital era.

Professor Oreste Pollicino will join the conference held by the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II to present the new edition of its training course on European Union Law. During the important event, focused on the issue of European Law and freedom of information, Professor Oreste Pollicino will present a speech on the European strategy against misinformation.

Professor Oreste Pollicino will take part in the series of lectures on science, ethic and law of the Scuola di Alta Formazione of the Corte dei Conti “Francesco Staderini”. During his speech, Professor Pollicino will focus on the new challenges of constitutional law in the digital era and, in particular, on freedom of expression from a globalized point of view.

Professor Oreste Pollicino will join the event "L’ecosistema digitale per le future generazioni”, held by Telefono Azzurro on the occasion of the Safer Internet Day, the international day established by the European Commission in order to promote a safer and more responsible use of online technology by children and young people around the world. Numerous eminent speakers will join the event, which is part of a series of events held by Telefono Azzurro to pursue the wellness of every child and adolescent, also on the Internet.

Professor Oreste Pollicino will join as speaker and co-chair an important event held by the International Association of Constitutional Law, the Centre for European and Comparative Legal Studies (CECS), the University of Copenhagen e the Nordic network CONNOR 2030.

During the event, focused on the issue "the impact of digitalization on Constitutional Law", Professor Oreste Pollicino will present a speech entitled "'Digital constitutionalism' and the apparent paradox of private digital powers performing de facto constitutional functions" and will be co-chair of the "Session for young scholars".

On December 14th  Professor Oreste Pollicino, together with Professor Giusella Finocchiaro and Professor Giorgio Resta, will present their new volume “Codice della privacy e data protection” in the Aula Magna of the Law School of the Università Roma Tre. Together with them, several eminent speakers, such as Professor Carmelita Camardi of Università di Venezia, Francesco Maria Cirillo from the Suprema Corte di Cassazione, Vincenzo Neri from the Consiglio di Stato and the President of the Data Protection Authority, Professor Pasquale Stanzione. During the seminar, introduced by Professor Antonio Carratta, Director of the Law School of Università Roma Tre, and by Professor Carlo Colapietro, Director of the Master “Responsabile della protezione dei dati personali”, the issues related to the digital transformation and the protection of personal data will be discussed.
