Prof. Avv. Oreste Pollicino will take part in the hybrid seminar “Rights in the Infosphere”, which will take place on 4 October 2022 at the Università Commerciale “L. Bocconi”, Milan.
The event, which will be introduced by the greetings of Prof. Donato Masciandro, aims to analyse the ethical and legal consequences of the application of technologies, starting from the philosophical analysis of Prof. Luciano Floridi, University of Bologna, who will be entrusted with the event’s conclusions. Prof. Avv. Oreste Pollicino will participate on 23 September 2022 in the “State of Privacy 2022”, an event organised by the Italia Data Protection Authority to celebrate its first 25 years of activity. The Professor, who will join the session as a Member of the Management Board European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA), will sit at the table dedicated to Human Rights, where the main challenges for the near future will be outlined. The debate will be led by Avv. Alessandra Pierucci, Chair of the Commission on Convention 108, and will also be attended by Prof. Joe Cannataci, University of Malta, Prof. Giovanna De Minico, University Federico II of Naples, Mr. Bruno Gencarelli, Deputy to the Director and Head of Unit at the European Commission, Avv. Prof. Avv. Oreste Pollicino will take part in the Junior Scholars Forum organised by IACL, The International Association of Constitutional Law, an event whose purpose is to allow young researchers from various parts of the world to present their research.
The Professor will join the panel “Expanding the Boundaries of Rights” and participate in the discussion, moderated by Prof. Pablo Riberi, University of Cordoba, as a commentator together with Prof. Mariana Mota Prado, University of Toronto.

Prof. Avv. Oreste Pollicino will join today a new meeting of the “ELI Digital Law Speaker Series” which, on this occasion, will be dedicated to “Tackling Disinformation through Procedural Safeguards: The European Union Approach in the Digital Services Act”. The Professor will illustrate the topic together with Dr. De Gregorio, Post-doc at the University of Oxford.
The meeting is hosted by the European Law Institute (ELI) and will be moderated by Prof. Christoph Busch, University of Osnabrück, and Prof. Alberto De Franceschi, University of Ferrara and KU Leuven.

From fintech to corptech' by Niccolò Abriani and Giulia Schneider, published by Il Mulino. The author will be introduced by Prof. Maria Lillà Montagnani, Bocconi University, followed by a discussion with Prof. Pollicino and Prof. Riccardo Zecchina, Bocconi University.
